ABOUT ME
Meet Your Menopause & Women’s Health Specialist
Years Experience in Women's Health
Hello, I’m Mandy Burton, FNP-C, APRN, MSCP, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve dedicated more than 25 years to women’s health, caring for women in every season of life, from early adulthood through menopause and beyond. I am a certified menopause practitioner with specialized training in hormone therapy, urogynecology, and complex menopause management.
For many women, menopause is a challenging and often confusing season. Because women spend nearly 40% of their lives in menopause, my passion is to help women understand what is happening in their bodies and, more importantly, to help them feel like themselves again.
While I continue to collaborate with specialty teams in urogynecology, Eden Health RX allows me to focus fully on what matters most: listening to you, understanding your symptoms, and building a care plan that truly fits your life.
If you’re over 40 and beginning to notice changes or if you’ve already been struggling with symptoms, you don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to guide you with compassionate, evidence-based care and personalized support every step of the way.
Myth-Busting Menopause Care
What we hear every day, and why women deserve better!
At Eden Health RX, many patients arrive carrying misinformation that has delayed care, minimized symptoms, or made them believe help isn’t available. These are some of the most common myths we address:
- “I still have a period, so I can’t use hormone therapy.”
- “I have a family history of breast cancer, so hormone therapy isn’t an option for me.
- “It’s normal to develop an overactive bladder and wear pads as I age.”
- “I have to stop my hormones once I reach a certain age.”
- “Low libido is just part of getting older.”
- “If my symptoms aren’t severe, I don’t need treatment.”
- “Hormone therapy causes breast cancer.”
- “Testosterone is a hormone only men make and should not be given to women.”
- “Bioidentical hormone therapy means compounded hormone therapy.”
- “Hormone care should only be used as a last resort.”
- “Vaginal estrogen isn’t allowed if you’ve had breast cancer.”
- “Hormone therapy is only for hot flashes. I should wait until they start.”
- “Insurance won’t cover hormone therapy.”
- “Compounded hormones are the safest way to get hormones.”
These beliefs are common, but they are not evidence-based.
Eden Health RX was built to change the standard of menopause care through thoughtful evaluation, individualized treatment, and clear, science-driven guidance, without fear, dismissal, or shortcuts.

Help When You Need It
Personalized Care for Every Stage of Midlife
Every woman experiences hormonal changes differently. At Eden Health RX in Hot Springs, AR, we focus on understanding your symptoms, your history, and your goals. Then create a care plan that supports your health now and for the years ahead.
Eden Health RX is a self-pay clinic, allowing us to offer unrushed visits, highly personalized care, and treatment plans designed entirely around you.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Hormone therapy is the gold standard for managing perimenopausal/menopausal symptoms while protecting bone, heart and improving overall health. When appropriate, therapy is tailored to your individual needs and medical history, with ongoing monitoring to optimize benefits while minimizing risk.
Non-Hormonal
Options
Hormones are not the right fit for every woman. Whether by choice or medical necessity, we offer individualized non-hormonal approaches to help you feel well and supported through the menopause transition.
Sexual Health & Libido Support
Hormonal changes can impact desire, arousal, and comfort. We offer thoughtful medical and non-hormonal options designed to support sexual wellness at every stage.
Testosterone Therapy for Women
Low testosterone can contribute to low energy, decreased libido, and reduced muscle strength. When clinically indicated, therapy is individualized and safely managed.
Weight, Energy & Metabolic Support
Using InBody scale composition analysis, we evaluate muscle, fat mass, and metabolic health—not just the number on the scale. We use this information to guide personalized nutrition, fitness, and medical weight loss support (when appropriate), always focused on strength, energy, and long-term health—not quick fixes.
Lab Testing & Ongoing Monitoring
Care is guided by how you feel, supported by comprehensive lab data. Our in-house lab services allow for seamless testing, timely results, and safe ongoing monitoring—all in one place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions About Your Care at Eden Health RX
Do I need to be in menopause to be seen at Eden Health RX?
No. We see women in perimenopause, menopause, and anyone experiencing hormone imbalance in midlife. Many women notice symptoms years before their final period, and getting support early can make a significant difference in how you feel day-to-day.
Is hormone therapy safe?
When prescribed thoughtfully and monitored by a trained provider, hormone therapy is considered safe and effective for many women. Your medical history, symptoms, and risk factors are always reviewed in detail before any recommendation is made.
Do you accept insurance?
Eden Health RX is a self-pay clinic. This allows for longer, unrushed visits and truly personalized care that isn’t limited by insurance rules or time constraints. A referral is not required to schedule a consultation.
Does Eden Health RX offer pellet therapy?
No. We believe hormone levels should be increased slowly and safely. For some, pellet therapy can raise levels too quickly, leading to side effects that may last for months without the ability to adjust dosing.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit is centered around understanding your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals. If needed, laboratory testing may be ordered. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan designed to support your long-term hormone health and overall well-being.
Are visits in person or virtual?
We offer both. You can be seen in person or choose a secure virtual visit, depending on your needs and treatment plan. Both options provide the same level of attentive, comprehensive care.
Can I be seen without joining a membership?
Yes! Based on availability, we offer a limited number of fee-for-service visits. These visits do not include communication between appointments, but they’re a good option if you’re exploring treatment or only need occasional support.
“My mom had a heart cath today, and they found a major blockage and were able to clear it and put in a stent. The rest of her heart looked great ☺️. She said in recovery, ‘this is all thanks to Mandy!’ Thank you for the work you do. You are saving lives, helping women restore their health and dignity, and helping them live longer 🫶”
